Holiday depression

If you or a loved one have at least five of the following symptoms, be aware that you/they could be suffering from depression.

  1. Sleep disturbances—oversleeping or not getting enough sleep
  2. Decreased interest in activities
  3. Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt
  4. Loss of energy
  5. Diminished ability to think or concentrate
  6. Appetite disturbances or weight loss/excessive weight gain
  7. Feelings of restlessness or slowing down/agitation
  8. Suicidal thoughts
