Hello! I’m so happy you are here. If you live in the northern Colorado areas of Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, or Loveland, I want to help you on your journey toward healing. If you’ve been contemplating counseling for some time, I understand your uncertainty. I want to assure you that at Mending Hearts Counseling you’ll feel the safety and non-judgment that you deserve.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.” –Brené Brown

I believe that no issue, trauma, or adversity is too overwhelming to overcome. You have the power and strength within to conquer debilitating and disruptive feelings. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, betrayal trauma, self-esteem issues, addiction, or anxiety, counseling can help. I also have experience working with children who are processing feelings about divorce/separation, bullying, parental bereavement, and social anxiety.

Having received Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I use The Gottman Institute’s research-based approach to couples therapy. With training from the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP), I am a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) and specialize in betrayal trauma to help you process your pain and help you restore hope that you can feel like yourself again. You will feel comfortable in our sessions to discuss sensitive topics because I will guide you through it. I know I say it all over this site, but it is so true—there is hope!
