Like it or not, we’re products of our family of origin and many of our belief systems about roles and family goals stem from what we learned growing up. If you were raised in a very different environment than that of your future spouse, chances are you have different ideas about family in general. This isn’t to scare you but to prepare you and create communication systems that you and your future spouse will benefit from. I offer faith-based counseling approaches as well, if desired.
