I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant online video counseling for clients who live anywhere in the state of Colorado. You might benefit from online therapy due to the lack of time, energy, or ability to travel to my counseling office. I also offer online video counseling for clients who generally attend in-office sessions but have found themselves unable to do so due to crisis, travel, or illness. Clients who regularly come to in-person sessions find that having secure online video counseling from time to time helps keep life on track when they would normally have had to cancel the session.
I evaluate each client and situation to determine whether online video therapy is appropriate. I will assess whether you have appropriate technology on your end prior to scheduling an online video session. Please note that with online therapy I can’t guarantee privacy and confidentiality because I can’t ensure that someone won’t walk into your session on your end of the video chat as I would be able to do in my own office. We will discuss these potential issues beforehand so I can help you to safeguard your privacy as much as possible on your end. Also, per Colorado statutes, I require our initial session to be held in-person and could require occasional in-person sessions depending on my own therapeutic assessment.

Occasionally, clients experience days when more emotional support is needed outside of their regularly scheduled session and online video counseling allows for additional guidance, assistance, and encouragement.
